Trinitás Cheese Workshop
Vokány

A small cheese workshop where great things are created …

Homemade semi-hard and soft cheeses in a variety of styles.

The Cheese Workshop

If you are looking for true handcrafted cheeses — made in the heart of a wine region, with family care and masterful precision — then Vokány is the place to be, within the shared world of Miszli Private Dining and the Trinitás Cheese Workshop.

Here you will find not just cheeses, but stories captured in flavour, slowly matured experiences — a place where the wine region and craftsmanship meet.

Handcrafted soft and semi-hard cheeses from the heart of the Villány Wine Region
At the Trinitás Cheese Workshop, we produce soft and semi-hard cheeses exclusively in distinctive, locally developed flavour combinations. Our cheeses are not made on an industrial scale, but in a small workshop, with great care and dedication — created directly for your table.

Each cheese is made according to our own and alpine-inspired recipes, using fresh milk and natural ingredients.

Our products:
– Soft cheeses: charcoal-coated, ground coffee varieties, and seasonally changing variations
– Semi-hard cheeses: natural, aged for several months, occasionally with special seasoning
– Orda whey curd: the treasure of cheesemaking, used to prepare our own “Miszli spread”
– Juliska’s cottage cheese cake: a dessert made from Orda, with flavours adapted to the season

Our cheeses are not available in shops or online stores. They can be purchased exclusively on site in Vokány, within Miszli Private Dining and the Trinitás Cheese Workshop — and it is worth enquiring in advance to see which cheeses have been freshly made in the workshop.

Juliska’s Cottage Cheese Cake

The Orda created during the cheesemaking process made us pause and think: such a valuable product should not be used merely as a substitute for animal feed.
To the great disappointment of our hens, we began developing new products — resulting in the Miszli spread as well as the cottage cheese cake.

Among Juliska’s paternal ancestors was the well-known Rosta family, who ran pastry shops in Kapuvár and later in Zánka.
This is likely where her interest in desserts originates, and without compromise she bakes her cottage cheese cake week after week —
sometimes with raspberries, blackberries or figs, and in autumn, even with pumpkin.

On one occasion, the organisers of a Plácido Domingo concert visited us.
After tasting Juliska’s cottage cheese cake, they exclaimed:
“This is exactly what we would like to serve as dessert at the gala dinner following the artist’s concert in Pécs!”

A place where flavours are honest – and the food is too

The story of the cheese workshop would not be complete without Miszli Private Dining — the two live and breathe in the same place.
Szabolcs, who creates the dishes, does not seek labels.
He is not drawn to the trends of
fine dining,
yet every plate reflects care, knowledge and a quiet elegance that does not seek attention, only to leave a lasting impression.

Here, we do not follow trends, but the rhythm of the seasons, the flavours of the wine region and the curiosity of our guests.
Whether it is a wine dinner or a cheese tasting, the experience is direct, human — and available only here, only now.

Name and tradition – our local roots

The name Trinitás Cheese Workshop is inspired by the Benedictine abbey that once stood in Vokány,
dedicated to the Holy Trinity.
With this name, we pay tribute to the history of the place,
while our aim has always been to create carefully controlled, handcrafted dairy products
for the enjoyment of our family and our guests.

Villány Wine Region – Local Product Certification
